EPC upgrades and consultancy
The route to a ‘C’ rated EPC can be expensive and confusing. There are a number of different ways to achieve the rating via improvements but it is not always clear which route is the best.
Leodis surveys offer a full consultancy and implementation regime for landlords needing to upgrade their EPC to a C. We will analyse the building at it’s current rating and recommend which is the most cost effective and sensible way to achieve the upgrade.
Retrofit assessments
Leodis surveys is a registered Retrofit assessor and is qualified to undertake assessments for the purposes of energy efficiency upgrades.
The EPC and retrofit assessments work very closely together and the assessment is often needed to clear the way for improvements.
There are potential downsides to some types of insulation and if inappropriately installed it can cause significant damage. It is also important that clients understand how air source and ground source heat pumps integrate into a whole house retrofit. A retrofit assessment will explain the whole process from inception to completion.
